If you buy an iPod you get the choice wether or not you want an engraving to make the iPod more personal. The engraving is done with lasers and can be used to ‘print’ a personal message at the back of the music player. According to Erictric, Apple is planning to offer this option for the iPas as well.
“From what I understand, Apple’s going to be offering customers the option to get their iPads engraved just before the Holidays roll around,” the source said.
It’s unclear wether or not Apple will ask some money for this service, although it is highly likely it will be free to make the iPad even more attractive.
