Are you planning to buy the iPad and go on vacation to Austria? Not a bad idea, because in Austria you can get the iPad for €333,-. While the prices in Europe have not been announced yet, the Austrian operator Hutchison seems to have an answer to the question what prices people might expect.
They are going to offer the iPad 3G version for €333,- with a monthly data plan. You have to buy a two year data plan that’ll cost you €29,90 per month. You get a data bundle of 5GB so that should be enough. It’s unclear what model this price is for, but I think it’s safe to assume the €333,- is for the 16GB model.
Other prices about the 32GB and 64GB models have not been mentioned and prices for the Wi-Fi-only version are also not available yet. There are people (myself included) who assume the Wi-Fi-only 16GB version is going to cost €449,-.
