Finally, the next firmware version for both the iPhone and iPod touch is here. You can now start using features like Multitasking, Folders, Unified Inbox, and Wallpapers. You can install iOS 4 via iTunes. The update is available for all devices, with the exception of the first generation iPhone and iPod touch. The update for the iPad will be available this fall.

Installation instructions:
- Update iTunes to version 9.2
- Start iTunes 9.2 and connect your iPhone
- iTunes either automatically shows there’s an update for the iPhone, or you can search for update by pressing de “Search for updates” button
- iOS 4 will be available for download, follow the on-screen instructions
- If, for some reason, iTunes doesn’t display a new update, you can download the IPSW-file from Apple, link: http://ios.e-lite.org/
