Not only will the iTablet or iSlate be launched later this year, we’ll also see the launch of an iMac with a touchscreen. That’s what a new report from the Chinese-launguage newspaper the Commercial Times is claiming. DigiTimes, a Taiwanese industry trade publication, reported that the 22-inch iMac with touchscreen would be an addition to the current 21,5-inch and 27-inch iMacs.
The supplier of the screen is said to be the Taiwan-based Sintek Photronic. Quanta is going to handle the production of the hardware. Sintek already offers touchscreens, however the screens only range from 2.8-inches to 12-inches. It remains uncertain if the report is based on true facts or that it’s just another rumour we’ll never here from again. The Commercial Times is usually pretty reliable when it comes to Apple-related rumours.
