Keypad is a new application for the iPad which enables you to control Photoshop-features via your iPad. The application is directed to one desktop program: Photoshop. If you don’t have a Wacom-tablet the iPad is ideal for drawing and retouching.
Another positive thing is the fact that an amateur can use this is as well, since the most important functions are displayed in one window without all the menus. The more experienced users of Photoshop can immediately start using the functions. Keyboard shortcuts are no longer necessary.
You do need to install the Keypad Server-application for Mac OS X or Windows. You also need Photoshop CS3, CS4, of Elements. You get shortcuts to functions like draw-, edit-, and viewfunctions.You can also make finger gestures to zoom, pan and scroll. You only need to make a connection between the computer and the iPad once. After restarting the app, the connection is automatically established.
